Holiday Inn Express Chesapeake - Norfolk by IHG

We loved this room. It was the king suite,the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The shower felt great,it had body wash,etc. They had plenty of choices for breakfast and the man at the front desk was friendly. We will definitely be staying in IHG from now on and we will choose this hotel when we're in the area

The staff were extremely accommodating. The rooms were typical Holiday Inn Express rooms. Bedding was very comfortable. Room was cleans. General public areas, dining, laundry and gym were all updated and clean. I would definitely stay there again.

Doing our stay at Chesapeake-Norfolk With the Help of Rashawnda Cowell( Asst. General Manager) I was so grateful for her to help me to get us set up in her facility after I made a mistake of choosing the wrong one! I have to say it took several times going back and forth on the phone and they kept hanging up on us that She continually kept working to make it work out...She made sure we were happy, and with that been said Yes we were and Thank you for everything!!! Giving this 5 stars because it met all of our needs. Great service at check in, clean room, comfortable bed. Everything we needed. We slept well and took advantage of the Kureg for coffee in the morning. We were in town for a quick weekend and feel we made an excellent choice for a place to stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Best Holiday Inn Express yet. My husband visits many for work. Clean, modern, nice friendly helpful welcome from Sheila. Sheila explained our IHG awards. She made us aware of door tag green space, meant we we did not require room services, which also earned us 500 IHG points. Breakfast buffet had plenty options. Great cinnamon rolls,:/ Greek yogurt, oatmeal, cheese omelette, turkey sausage option, cereals, and biscuits, gravy one day. Breakfast attendant was prompt refilling. There’s a pool, free parking. Close to shopping, WaWa, Starbucks, and interstate to !

We initially check in for 2-3 nights of stay while visiting families and friends in the area. very impressed on the design and cleanliness of the common areas when we checked in.. bonus was the friendliness and hospitality of Shayna at the reception. Our plans of short stay change due to some circumstances and the receptionist Elijah was able to extend our stay with patience and smile. we told him about the Tub situation which they really took that as a potential opportunity for improvement. -⭐ROOM⭐ the hotel rooms are clean when we checked in, although there are few missed on hotel renovation like the bath tub damage, non working charging ports, broken clock, and bathroom bottom door is falling apart. The beds are really comfortable, fluffy and clean so it is a good balance on all the flaws. +⭐ STAFF⭐ Thank you for the housekeeping that is super sweet and professional. Kudos to your front office staff. I may have to suggest to improve the Breakfast service a bit. As I cannot recommend this for a long term stay if the breakfast is the same dried out sausage everyday with a bit sloppy maintenance(check the photos) The bfast area is really new with Costa Coffee automatic coffee maker so I hope this won’t go to waste and continues to compliment the over all image of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for short term stays and affordability!

Stayed for 3 nights during a hockey tournament. Room was clean, staff was incredibly friendly, free breakfast was good. Great close location to the rink.

I want to say that my stay was pleasant, with special thanks to Connor, the gentleman who took the initiative to ask how he could help. I had a very important meeting in the lobby, and he assisted me in creating a nice, professional environment.
